Content Library Analyzer

How it works

The content library analyzer is a free tool that reads a spreadsheet of your titles and tells you how much of it is ready to schedule on a FAST channel or publish in an AVOD catalog. It matches columns by name, and you can correct any match under "Columns and settings".

• FAST readiness: a title passes when it has a title, a readable duration, sits inside its rights window today, and its rights type (if you have that column) mentions FAST, linear or all media.
• AVOD readiness: the same, plus a description, genre and artwork, and a rights type that mentions AVOD, ad-supported or all media.
• Days with no repeats: ready hours divided by program hours per day, which is 24 less the ad minutes per hour you enter.
• Expiring rights: any title whose rights end within the window you pick, 90 days by default.

The CSV needs a header row, a title column and a duration column. Genre, rights dates, rights type, description, rating, artwork, captions, series, year and language are optional. Checks that depend on a missing column are marked "not checked".

• It checks your spreadsheet, not your contracts. A wrong date in the file gives a wrong answer.
• "Ready" means a row passed the checks above. Each FAST or AVOD platform sets its own rules.
• The tool contains no benchmarks. Repeat targets and ad minutes are your own numbers.
• Duplicate rows are flagged but still counted until you remove them.

How many hours of content do I need for a FAST channel?

There is no fixed number, because it depends on how often you are willing to repeat a title. A 24/7 channel uses 24 program hours a day, less ad time. A library of 200 ready hours fills about 8.3 days with no repeats before ad breaks. The analyzer runs this on your own cleared hours.

Is my catalog uploaded to Revidd?

No. The CSV is read and analyzed in your browser and is not sent to Revidd or anyone else. A copy is kept in your own browser so your results are still there when you return; "Start over" removes it.

What is the difference between FAST and AVOD readiness?

FAST readiness asks whether a title can be placed in a linear schedule: it needs a duration and current rights. AVOD readiness asks whether a title can sit in a catalog that viewers browse, so it also needs a description, genre and artwork. A title can pass one and fail the other.

Is the analyzer free, and why does the report ask for an email?

The analyzer is free to use on the page with no account: totals, both readiness checks, the charts and the first five flagged titles for each filter. The full report (every flagged title, its CSV, a text summary, and print or PDF) is also free, but asks for a work email first. The email goes to the Revidd team, who may contact you. Your catalog is not sent with it.
